The jet streams remains favorable for the Intermountain West over the next seven days with two to three storm systems lined up. In the Northeast there are a couple chances for snow.

Wyoming, Montana, Idaho: There are two to three storm systems lined up over the next seven days. The first storm winds down on Thursday leaving heavy accumulations in its wake. A second storm system delivers moderate snow accumulation on Friday and Saturday morning. A third larger storm system delivers heavy snow accumulation between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning. I'm forecasting seven-day grand totals of 1-3 feet at the ski areas, including Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, Sun Valley, Schweitzer, Whitefish, Discovery and Big Sky.

Colorado, Utah: There are two to three storm systems lined up over the next seven days. Thursday will feature moderate to heavy snow accumulations at the ski areas, especially in Colorado. I'm forecasting a quick shot of light snow between Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning in both states. A third much larger storm arrives on Sunday and continues into Monday and potentially Tuesday—accumulations look heavy.

Pacific Northwest: I'm forecasting two storm systems over the next seven days. The first storm is the smaller of the two. It delivers moderate to heavy snow accumulation on the high Cascades and volcanoes between Thursday night and Friday night. The second storm system arrives by Saturday morning with heavy snow accumulation through Sunday night. This storm has the potential to deliver up to 3 feet of accumulation on the highest peaks.

Whistler/Blackcomb: I'm forecasting two storm systems over the next seven days. The first storm is the smaller of the two. Expect moderate snow accumulation between Thursday night and Friday night. The second storm system delivers heavy snow accumulation Saturday morning through Sunday night.

California: The good news includes a storm system on Sunday-Monday with snow for the Mountains, including Tahoe and Mammoth, followed by colder temperatures.

Northeast: A few snow showers on Thursday then a better chance of snow on Friday with light to moderate snow accumulation at the ski areas. I'm forecasting a slight chance of light snow on Sunday then a larger, warmer storm system Monday-Tuesday.

Tomer's Take: On Friday ski Colorado at Steamboat, Vail or Wolf Creek, on Saturday ski Schweitzer or Whistler/Blackcomb and on Sunday ski Jackson Hole or Big Sky.
