Montana Ski Resorts

Montana may be one of the least populated states in the United States, but it has some of the biggest skiing and snowboarding in North America.


Big Sky Resort, located in the town of Big Sky, is a rarity within the ski and snowboard world, a destination resort where you’ll never have to wait in a lift line. It offers a variety of skiable terrain and is characterized by a huge Lone Peak that dominates the locate landscape.

Whitefish Mountain Resort, located in the Northwestern part of the state, offers 3000 skiable acres of varied terrain. Bridger Bowl, located in the college town of Bozeman, is a favorite of Montana State University students, as well as skiers and snowboarders of all ages looking for a challenge.
