We have been proud to provide you with free access to snow reports, resort guides and more, and we are beyond grateful for your readership and contributions to our community over the years.

Unfortunately given the changing media landscape, Mountain News Corporation has experienced financial declines in recent years. With additional economic challenges from the COVID-19 pandemic now facing our business, it is not financially viable to continue operating.

Mountain News Corporation and our OnTheSnow and Skiinfo websites will be shutting down. We will explore the possibility of selling, partnering, or contributing assets to another media outlet if there is an opportunity to allow for a consistent or enhanced online experience. Walked like a mile up hill from the closest parking and stood in line for over an hour. Small ski area with large crowds. Nothing to see here.

This is a very special place with unique terrain. The resort itself gets a 5 star but conditions get a 3 star. Very thin base in many spots. A couple warm days ruined it. Needs new snow.

that was the view from the list at 9:30 am on Saturday. some of the lightest, fluffiest snow we skied all season, and it kept snowing through lunch. Bridger Bowl is set up for some really great spring skiing.

Bridger was cool. Bozeman not so much. To each his own, but it’s definately a fur trim coat kind of town. As for the mountain, unless you bring a avalanche beacon you can’t access the ridge terrain
