Conditions were good. Service was TERRIBLE! First, swift current (the main lift) breaks down, so everyone goes to andesite and explorer, we had just gotten their so we didn’t wanna leave. We went up Ram charger then down to thunder wolf where it breaks down. Long story short we were waiting in a lines+riding lifts for 2 hours, trying to get back to the base. Guy in the office was an A-hole and didn’t provide any sort of compensation. Expensive resort, crappy lifts.

All runs at Moonlight Basin today.Conditions largely packed powder - still some pockets of powder to be found in out of way places. ( Very ) Rare small patches of hard pack in some high use areas. Good coverage.Warm ( for January) and sunny today. No lift lines Even the $14 barbecue sandwich at Headwaters Grill at Madison Base was quiet good. Once again Big Sky/ Moonlight Basin fails to disappoint.

Almost no lift lines especially on Moonlight Basin side.. Tram closed for at least part of day to skiing/boarding. Nice snow - very good coverage with very few rocks.Powder still to be found on edges and in the trees by afternoon. Warm for January. Other than price of lift ticket a great experience today

Things are staring to fill in but still many rocks hidden under the powder. Dakota is skiing great but Tram isn't worth it just yet. Couple more weeks and everything should be rock and rolling. Stick to trees for more fun until then.
