2016/2017 Armada Victa 93 ski review. OnTheSnow tested this ski as part of its women’s All-Mountain Back Category.

“This versatile ski can tackle anything if faces on the mountain,” says Brown of the Armada Victa 93. “It has lots of life and stability in most conditions.” A member of a new series from Armada (including the All-Mountain Front Victa 87 Ti), the 93-mm-waisted Victa is designed to appeal to all-mountain skiers who favor the fall line. Construction includes Armada’s Power Lite core—a full wood core with hardwood stringers, carbon Kevlar struts and two layers of titanium. The rocker profile, called AR Nose Rocker, combines traditional camber underfoot with a relatively softer, rockered tip. Testers praised the ski for its playfulness but were less infatuated with the ski’s performance in powder. “It feels a little narrow for powder days, but it’s lots of fun in the bumps and easy to turn in variable snow,” says Balandina.
