Atomic Vantage 100 CTi ski review, 2017/2018 men's All-Mountain Back Category, from our equipment experts at Realskiers.com powered by Masterfit.

Atomic embellished the 2018 Vantage 100 CTi with a stronger core on the inside and a tougher hide on the outside. The new Nano-TPU topskin resists the inevitable nicks and scuffing that all skis are subject to, and the substitution of maple for popular (paired with hard ash) makes the core equally resistant to wear and tear. Such efforts to maintain quality over time wouldn’t matter much if the fundamental structure were flawed, but this isn’t an issue for the Vantage 100 CTi. Constructed with the brilliant Carbon Tank Mesh and reinforced with Titanium Backbone 2.0, this Atomic ski has all the edging performance you need to slice through ice, but its preferred mountain medium is tracked-up crud where it treats chunder like it was fluff. With almost as much shape as carving skis, the Vantage 100 CTi still has plenty of surface area to help keep it on top of fresh snow. “It’s powerful without being bulky feeling,” said Bobo’s Pat Parraguirre, who distilled its essence to “accurate, powerful and precise.”
