Gasteiner Valley Ski Resorts

You can choose between several ski areas during your ski vacation in the Gasteinertal. The pistes reach up to an altitude of 2700 m and cover all levels of difficulty. The Gasteinertal offers world cup suitable slopes for alpine skiing and for snowboarding. Families find equally attractive offers as do snowboarders and carvers because of the diverse pistes in the ski areas Stubnerkogel, Sportgastein, Dorfgastein, and Graukogel. There a smooth hills for beginners but also powder snow hillsides and mogul slopes.

The 1400 meters altitude difference encompassing northern slope of the Sportgastein is no doubt of great interest for snowboarders. The Heimalmabfahrt in Dorfgastein is also an insider tip for snowboarders. The altitude of the region, as well as the extensive possibilities of snow-making, allows for reliable snow conditions from the end of November until the end of April.
