This place seemingly has it all. Great snow, good lift system, great terrain, uncrowded, all anchored by an old mining town oozing with charm. It almost sounds like a Rocky Mountain Cliche. My highlights at Telluride were the tree skiing off of chair 6, the long steep runs off of chair 14 and the high speed runs from the top of resort down to town. I day tripped from Montrose both days, so can't comment on the Apres. Driving through town, I got the sense the scene has a pulse. Be forewarned Telluride is remote and hard to get to. Oh yeah, the place isn't cheap. I do highly recommend skiing at Telluride. I look forward to returning.
