The roads were clear going up today (Monday, 2/1). It rained on us and after 6 runs we were too wet to continue. Will come back - decent base. Hope it doesn’t wash away!

There's icy patches, a car flipped in front of me on Wednesday. Stay away if you have bald tires or rear wheel drive.
As for snow for your kids below the base of the lift/parking lot, there isn't any. Buy lift tickets, go tubing/skiing, support the inexpensive, awesome mountain, don't create "snow play traffic". $5 to park in the ski area lot and hike up to where the snow starts. Sheriff comes by and checks dashboards/issues citations.
