I've skied here more than any other mountain in the area- probably 80 days over the last 3 years. My kids and wife all went through multi-week learn-to-ski programs here and they all had good experiences. This is in spite of the relative lack of good beginner terrain- one of the mountains two great weaknesses. The conveyer belt area is very short and the beginner terrain served by lift 5 is also the main route to the lodge, so people come flying through regularly. Its not a good set-up, but without reimagining how the entire mountain operates, it is what it is. The lifts are weakness 2 and the achilles heal of Mt. Spokane. Every single lift is due for replacement except chair 6. Every. Single. One. Chair 1 was installed before Elvis became famous and chair 2 beat The Beatles to North America. 3,4, and 5 each have their issues and while you can function without 4 (though it serves the best skiing on the mountain) 3 and 5 are vital to mountain ops and they just can't keep up on days that are even somewhat busy. That said, the night skiing is the best thing Mt. Spokane has to offer and what really sets it apart in the Inland NW. However, I think they've figured that out. The cost of a night ticket has gone up each of the last 3 years. TLDR: Survive the lifts, enjoy the trees, avoid the weekends.

Good snow compared to Cascade Mountains on the west side of the state. Not a lot for extreme challenges. No high-speed lifts. Lots of wide runs. Tree skiing is good. Prices are reasonable for what you get. Lift operators very friendly. Very active Seniors group meets on Wednesdays. This mountain good for everyone except those looking for extreme skiing.
Friendly, local ski resort
No overnight lodging

Mt Spokane is locals paradise. All the beautiful people go to Schweitzer, so please keep driving and leave this hill for the town folks. Eric S.
Great hill. Backside is typically fog free. Chair 6 has a couple nice bump runs. You can typically catch chairs without a lift line. Some pretty good glades. I can get to the chair from my house in 40 minutes. Night skiing on 2 face is a Spokane tradition
The front side is predominantly side hill. You must catch snow in a tight window or it's likely to get heavy. The parking is terrible if you go at the wrong times. Fog haunts the place if you don't know where to go.

Wish they would open lifts I payed money to be here.
Nothing
No lifts are open besides the beginner one that only takes 10 seconds to come down

Skied Tahoe area for years, I’m older now and this mountain fits into my style, relaxed & smooth as I want.
Vertical feet in a day with slope, fun tree’s, cool views.
Steeps!

Best days are the weekdays. Season is based on their lease, so they closed early April. Great snow this season (January-April 2019). Easy to get to and parking is fine. The lodge next to chair 2, is pretty minimal. The staff is great. Beer selection is great. The road, coming down the mountain gets dicey. Sometimes it doesn't get sanded/de-iced. With a few impatient drivers.... ! All in all, for the money and location, This is a fun mountain. Just go.
Location, affordable, great groomers, variety of trail's and faces, new area has an updated chairlift.
Historical chairlifts in the original areas!

Wide natural trails that follow the fall lines. Varied terrain geared towards the intermediate. Some moderately advanced runs. Trees are fun, but can quickly get tight. Some fun cat-track jumps. Terrain park looks awesome if you are into that. With the new chair going on the back, this is going to be a mainstay of great local skiing for Eastern Washington. The lodge has been upgraded and the bar area is a blast where you can hang with family and friends.
Great family mountain.

The number of good aspects of Mt spokane are ever decreasing, over recent year they've become overcrowded, bad snow years have made snow conditions worse than before. The expansive westside backcountry will soon disappear within a year or two with the unneeded and irresponsible expansion, which isn't worth the state park land it will cost. Prices have also increased, the only reason to go there is it's closest to Spokane, good night skiing and sort of family friendly.
Plentiful night skiing, close to spokane, great backcountry(until destruction), some good trees, unique expreience
Wind crust, and ice common, lifts lacking, large amounts of people, (geedy parent company)

Probably one of the best non- incorporated ski areas in the country. Extremely focused on the local skiing family. Affordability and child care services are excellent. Has enough terrain to satisfy most intermediate to advanced skiers. Has alot of future potential with expansion and a lodge update.
Close to home. Varied and some challenging terrain. Great staff and ski school for kids.
Lodge needs rebuild. Expansion of mountain and some great skiable terrain being continuously blocked by environmentalists. Currently a great jobs program for impact study experts.
