Green Peak Trails 51, 52, & 53 are Open!

We received 6" of fresh powder on the Summit of Mt. Tecumseh overnight, more than 3" at base lodge, and are expecting another few inches in flurries and snow showers throughout the day today! We love a POW Day at Waterville and want to preserve as much of the good, old-fashioned natural stuff as possible. That means that we have left 14 trails untouched, primarily black trails and a few blues on High Country. We have groomed all green trails and on 9 remaining trails we have groomed 1/2 so there is a little something for everyone! We will Open at 9:00am with 52 Trails, 8 lifts, 3 parks and 226 Acres of open terrain with Powder / Packed Powder surface conditions. Exhibition Park is wide open to the public, along with the other two Pop-Up Parks on High Country and Psyched. And all of our glades and "Wicked Venture Zones" are open!

We are looking forward to continued flurries and a snow shower throughout the day, and comfortable temperatures with a high of 26' at the summit and 32' at base lodge. The medium sized flakes and warmer temperatures are creating a beautiful, soft powder that should accumulate and stick to our base really nicely but if you want nice fresh powder you better gear up, call in sick, and leave you friends at home because today is going to be a classic pow day! The Marketplace, the Schwendi Hutte, and T-Bars are open for your warming and refueling needs!

Don't forget--January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month. Don't miss our $39 Learn to Ski/Ride Deal during the month of January. It includes a 2 hour lesson, all of your rental equipment, and a lower mountain lift ticket and is valid Mon-Thur, non-holidays! This is the perfect opportunity to bring a friend and introduce them to something you love, improve your own skills, or try something new by switching disciplines!

Join us next weekend as we celebrate the next in our series of 50th Anniversary Events, 70's: Hot Doggin' Freestyle! We will be featuring some classic skiing, throwback outfits, and themed food and drink specials! Check out our loaded Event Calendar for all the details!

Green expansion is not open and the conditions are icy due to yesterday's rainfall. They were having technical issues with the chairlifts earlier. They may be fixed by now.
