Goderdzi Ski resort situated on a north-facing plateau, only 2 hour of drive from the most popular seaside resort town of Batumi in Georgia, is ideal four-season mountain resort by its location and infrastructure. This resort together with other seasonal alpine settlings is the geographical region, where the quite specific farming structures. At an elevation of 2000 meters, the mountains are snow-covered (6-7 m of snow) from November to April, while the gently rolling topography of the valley floor offers plentiful zones. Sitting at elevation around of 1700 m (top elevation 2390m), the resort base is below the tree line, offering an attractive and welcoming character throughout the seasons.
The wilderness setting offers the visitors unique experiences, fresh-air and excellent scenery. Pristine forested mountains create a fantastic setting in the winter, spring, and summer and most dramatically, when the autumn colors create an intense display. 8 km of ski runs offers different levels of pistes (Intermediate, Advanced and Expert) as well as the opportunity of winter/summer hiking, ski tours, mountain biking, and of course paragliding and freeriding.
As the snow melts, the attractiveness of Goderdzi Resort extends into the springtime. Dazzling displays of alpine wildflowers and peaceful hiking through the forests, or to the nearby Green Lake, will delight visitors. Locals already visit existing mineral springs, and these will be further developed and enhanced to create wellness destination. Extensive hiking and trail networks provide recreation for families, while mountain biking, paragliding and an alpine luge will offer thrills for the more adventurous. The animated village core ensures that there is a clear destination for other season visitors.
