Snow Reporter Comments: Happy early Earth Day! Earth Day is officially on Monday but we’ll be celebrating today with naturalist-led tours on the mountain and planet-focused vendors in the Moonbeam area. Meet at the base of Apex Express at 11:30 a.m. for our famous geology tour, then slide over to Moonbeam Express at 1:00 p.m. to learn about local flora and fauna with the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation. This is the last day we’ll be hosting these tours this season. We’re expecting a mix of clouds and sunshine this morning before cloudy skies take over this afternoon. Temperatures will range from the upper 30s to the lower 40s, resulting in soft and slushy snow over most of the mountain.
