I recommend that staff evaluated the food and the cleanliness of the kitchen because I got food poisoning from the burger. It did taste amazing though but the food poisoning killed it all.
The mountains are nice and have a nice range of hills but no double blacks.
I got food poisoning from their burgers.

On December 26 I booked skiing for my entire family for December 29-30. We don’t live near MSMS so booked hotels and organized for a nice family vacation. The website wasn’t particularly user friendly to book that many tickets. There wasn’t an issue booking December 29th but when I booked December 30 the website said it had an unexpected problem and didn’t work. As a result I rebooked the same 7 adults and children for the same date, this time it successfully went through. The next day I noticed there was a double charge pending in my credit card for the same amount. I looked into it and found that the “unexpected issue” I had encountered had actually gone through and booked and charged the same tickets twice. As a result I had two bookings for the same people on the same date totaling almost $700 twice. I called and left a message but no one called back. I emailed customer service but got no response. Eventually I was able to get through to a female who was very rude and told me she wouldn’t refund my money because it was my fault and “no one else had problems with their website”. I have since read a number of reviews online with others having problems with their website so I find it hard to believe MSMS doesn’t get called regularly about problems with their website. Upon arrival on December 30th I spoke to customer service who reviewed my purchase and noted that I had booked the same tickets for the same people at the same time and as a result told me that they would refund one set of tickets because it appears to have been a website issue. I was happy with this and had a great day skiing. Upon returning home I didn’t see any refund as expected. Within a day of returning home I received an email from MSMS stating that their policy is that they don’t refund bookings and they wouldn’t refund the money that they had said they would. Since then I have called and emailed a total of 10 times and haven’t received any calls back or responses to emails. I have started disputing this through my credit card company however this is ridiculous as it shouldn’t take this much work to get my money back when it was obviously a website issue. I highly recommend avoiding this poorly run ski hill. Ski at Horseshoe or Blue Mountain! Both are close and have much better customer service!!
Nice snow conditions
Awful Customer Service

Good skiing and snowboarding but the customer service is enough to go anywhere else.
Great terrain park and park staff
Worst customer service I've ever witnessed

My family has been skiing here for 6-years and we have had season passes for many of those years. Blue mountain has less expensive season passes and you get more days on this hill at Blue - i.e. 5x7 vice 5x5 at MSLM. The lodge doesn't have very good amenities as compared to Blue or Horseshoe. The hill is decent but I echo some of the issues with respect to the grooming of runs for the evening skiers.
Close to Toronto
Expensive lift tickets compared to other local resorts

My experience at Moonstone was pretty negative. After attempting to get my “S” on the bunny hill about 15 times and 3 of which were done exactly how the sign directed, I decided to take a break and buy some lunch at the cafeteria. We bought poutine wich costed $9 for a good sized plate of hard fries, salty gravy and melted cheese curds. Additionally we bought nachos for $4 which were stale chips with a disappointing cheese. Typical for a movie theatre nacho but disaponting. After my lunch (25 minutes) we went back out to try and get our “S” and were told that the testing was over for the day. This was at 1:15pm which meant if you were alike me who didn’t get your “S” before that time you were stuck on te bunny hill until closing at 9pm. Extremely disappointing.
Lots of different slopes
Food is extremely overpriced, staff are not very helpful

Great place to ski. My kids learned to ski here. All the staff were friendly and helpful from sales to rentals to ski lift kids. We rented ski's from the helpful staff and went on the bunny hills which had very safe "escalators" to bring them to the top. They have enough challenge for beginner to intermediate level skiers. They have LOTS of snow machines and lift lines are short. The rental prices are decent. They have a chalet that serves food and a place to bring your own food and eat. There is no "resort" area with restaurants but that's fine with me.
Beginner to intermediate hill, price

Been to MSLMS a few times this season and things were fine, but this past Saturday when the weather was a big warmer the snow built up into huge piles. I know Blue Mountain actually grooms their hills, MSLMS doesn't seem to do anything. The worse is for people coming in the evenings to totally messed up conditions. We usually stay for night skiing but decided to leave super early since it was totally unskiiable. They really should invest in grooming if conditions becomes poor. I've been to Blue twice and both times they closed off areas and groomed during the day. So much safer with better conditions. I guess being busier Blue Mountain can invest more money to make things better for the customer.
Decent facilities
Hills not groomed and huge piles or snow.
