Wonderfully run, family owned ski resort. Continuously upgrading and well maintained. Ohio skiing doesn't get any better
Fun Terrain park, Agressive snow making (long season) wonderful children's program
It's a hill not a mountain, this is Ohio....

I visited Snow Trails on Feb 12th 2021. The kids ski program is absolutely the best I've ever experienced. You make your reservation online, and when you arrive they are ready to greet your child (with masks) and bring them to their pre-selected equipment. They help them figure out their boots and skis, and make the whole thing fun for them. No fuss, skip the rental shop - parents are off to the slopes! Grooming was very good, consistently great snow (for Ohio) throughout - although the best snow is always in the West Woods. That other place in Ohio might be bigger, but you just can't get around the data - the Possum Run Valley is the best in the state for snow. The Chalet was a little confusing at first - is this section for get your own food, or does a waitress come here? Am I supposed to step over this rope? But once we got our food, it was definitely cut above Midwest ski food. My parmesan chicken wrap was excellent, and the craft beer prices were unbeatable. Best of all, my daughter (in the kids program) went from nervous at the start of the day, to excited to get on any chair lift in the resort. I was amazed. We picked her up and skied for another 2 hours - thank you Snow Trails!
Snow quality, unmatched kids program, food

I give Snow Trails 5 stars, as nice as it gets. Snow Trails is family owned and operated.

I have been skiing here since 89' and have skied all over. Look, the terrain isn't going to blow your mind if you have skied outside of the Midwest, but the staff is fantastic and honestly cares about making the place run smoothly. The other skiers are there to have fun and I really can't say enough nice things about it.
The staff, amenities, bar, lockers, snow making

I have gone skiing here for years . It is a great place to learn and get your ski legs back after the summer. It lacks in size. The workers and ski instructers are nice. My kids like coming here. Ski lift operators are on their game paying attention to their jobs and the skiers getting on .

Every year for 5 years go up from Florida. Was my home town many years ago. Absolutely love the country atmosphere, Lodge has EVERYTHING you might need. Parking is incredibly easy. Grounds nicely taken care of. Very friendly employee group!
Tubing, love it
Getting there from Florida!

Does benefit from being in a cold valley, facing due north. Conditions are ALWAYS better here. Cooling tower also boosts snowmaking endeavors. Never have taken a bostonmills/Brandywine devotee here and not made them a believer in the superior snowtrails experience. Welcoming place unlike the machine like, corporate experience at bmbw.
This place actually cares about giving its customers a pleasant, real ski area experience.
Hour and ten minutes from cleveland.

---- I give Snow Trails 5 stars, as nice as it gets. Snow Trails is family owned and operated, they do a lot of maintenance and constant upgrades, always adding more pine trees, it's a nice, clean and organized resort. Plenty of planned activities, family atmosphere, bring the kids!. ----I've been skiing Snow Trails for 3 years, 30 days a season. The snow making is superb! They have a water cooling tower that makes the guns efficient. They always do a perfect job grooming every night. In my opinion, all the runs are intermediate with an awesome beginner area, beginner terrain park and a larger terrain park for the brave. ----I don't consume alcohol, so I can't say anything about drink prices or how stiff the drinks might be, but the loft bar is nice, has 2 fire places, looks out over the slope. Live Band(s) every weekend, a great place to kick back with friends. They have 2 restaurants, the food is good, fresh and the staff is friendly. The loft has an area for family pick-nicks if you like to bring your own food, NICE... ----- I've skied every resort in Ohio many times, most of Colorado, California and some others.
Best snow making, grooming, rustic lodge, nice crowd.
can we make more vericle drop? lol
