Ski holiday specialist Inghams has reduced the price of a week's stay in Panorama, British Columbia to £439.50 for departures Jan. 2, 2010.
The one-week, self-catering holiday in the resort's Pine Inn Hotel was previously priced at £553, the new reduced price therefore represents a saving of £113.50 per person. The price is based on four sharing a room and includes return flights from London Gatwick Airport and return resort transfers. Flights are also available from Manchester Airport for a supplement of £19 per person.
Framed by the Canadian Rockies, Panorama offers breathtaking scenery and boasts one of the highest vertical drops in North America at 4000 feet. The resort has benefitted from spectacular snowfall during the early weeks of the season, in common with other resorts in British Columbia and neighbouring Alberta.
A key feature in Panorama Mountain Village is the heated slopeside hot pool waterpark with hot tubs. A gondola has also been installed to whisk guests between the lower and upper villages as well as providing direct access from the day skier parking area. Built by Doppelmayr, the world's leading gondola manufacturer, the eight-passenger open-air 'pulse' gondola was the first of its kind in North America.
