Morzine offers an abundance of extreme winter activities both on and off the pistes, from heli-skiing to ice diving.
If you're planning on spending a week at Morzine, it gives you plenty of time to pack in lots of adrenaline-charged winter sports.
Extreme activities on offer in Morzine include heli-skiing at 2466 metres; tackling the Combe de la Machon mogul run; paragliding off of the Super Morzine summit; preparing the pistes by steering a grooming machine (accompanied by a professional); driving a snow mobile or a zippy quad; taking a scuba diving sessions beneath a frozen lake at high altitude; and night sledging at the Pleney.
Morzine (1000m) is one of the world's major ski resorts. It makes up part of the huge Portes du Soleil lift-linked ski area and offers access to 430 individual pistes. Skiing in Morzine is suitable for all levels with seven green runs, 23 blue, 26 red, and eight black.
A Portes du Soleil Ski Pass will enable skiers and boarders to access the neighbouring resorts of Abdondance, Avoriaz, Chatel, La Chapelle d'Abondance, La Grande Terche, Les Gets, Montriond, and Saint Jean d Aulps, Champoussin, Champery, Les Crosets, Morgins, and Torgon.
