Formigal, Spain's largest resort, has announced a host of special deals and discounts to help make skiing and boarding there more affordable this winter.
"With everybody watching the pennies this winter we are offering seven nights for the price of six in many off our hotels and families will enjoy an added help with our free child lift pass and ski hire offer," Formigal spokeswoman Catherine Dolan told OnTheSnow.
The free child lift pass and ski or board hire offer is valid when one adult per child reserves lift pass and hire.
The resort is keen to point out the going out for the night in Formigal won't break the bank either as beers start at €2 and a good three-course meal will set you back from as little as €25.
Formigal is increasing the range of après ski options this winter too, with a new tubing and toboggan run as well as an all new Italian Trattoria restaurant in the heart of the slopes, overlooking the village.
A new DJ café-bar in the Sextas base station will be open daily from 4 p.m onwards daily, so you don't even have to leave the slopes to start partying.
Formigal is easy to get to by direct flight from London Gatwick which takes just two hours to reach the regional airport of Huesca. From here you get straight onto the snow bus for the 90-minute transfer to the uncrowded slopes of Formigal.
