Kansas City's top local choice for skiing and riding, Snow Creek, will be raising season pass prices in less than two weeks. An adult pass at the mountain just north of the city is currently $100 less than the regular season price.
An individual adult pass (ages seven-69) is currently $350. It will be going up in price on Oct. 16. Child (six and under) and senior (70-plus) season passes are just $5 anytime. It's one of the best senior season pass rates in the Heartland.
A Family of Four Pass, good for up to four family members living in the same household, is now $1050. It will be going up $150 on Oct. 16. Additional family members beyond four can be added at any time for $100 each after you purchase the initial pass.
The Once-A-Week Pass, which allows you to ski or ride one day per week, and the Late Night Pass for night owls, which allows you to ski and ride from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights are currently on sale for $265 and $175 respectively. They will be going up to $300 and $190 respectively on Oct. 16.
A Pizzeria has been added in the southeast corner of the new dining room and will be serving fresh pizza daily.
An additional bonus for Snow Creek pass holders is that you receive half-off a lift ticket at any other Peak Resorts: sister resort Hidden Valley Ski Area in Missouri; Paoli Peaks in Indiana; Mad River Mountain and Boston Mills in Ohio; Jack Frost in Pennsylvania; and Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire.
