TELLURIDE, Colorado (June 28, 2016) – Continuing to drive air service and economic development for Colorado’s Western Slope, Colorado Flights has announced that partner Allegiant Airlines will begin serving Denver International (DEN) from the Telluride/Montrose (MTJ) airport this winter.

“The new Denver to Telluride/Montrose service on Allegiant is a game-changer, providing a low cost option for Western Slope residents to access Denver and Colorado’s main airline hub, and, with the new commuter rail to DEN, a fast, easy option for Denver skiers to get to the legendary slopes of Telluride,” said Colorado Flights’ COO Matt Skinner.

The seasonal flights will operate twice weekly and fly nonstop between Montrose Regional Airport (MTJ) and Denver International Airport (DEN) between Dec. 17, 2016 and Mar. 25, 2017. Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant is offering one-way fares on the route for as low as $44.*

The new service will add to the existing service Allegiant provides to Telluride/Montrose from Los Angeles.
