What we Thought:

> Style: The Eider women's Red Square Pant manages to somehow simultaneously fit flatteringly while affording skiers just the right amount of roominess, so there's no compromise in look or freedom of movement. The cut and material are enough to let you get away with wearing them all night for those après après that don't quit.

> Comfort: It's almost hard to cope with how good these ski pants look and feel because you'll start to wonder why all your pants can't be that way. With a standard-hitting waist and a little something above and beyond for extra coverage, the length is also perfectly dialed—long enough to wear sans ski boots but not in the way with them on.

> Performance: It might not be possible to fill all of the stylish, zippered pockets there are so many. Two more inner thigh zips reveal long, glorious, mesh-backed vents—an insulated pant wearer's best friend early and late season. Even without, though, Eider's durable construction keeps moisture at bay both inside and out.
