You have to love the PowSlayer’s name (and what it conjures up). You’ll also love that this jacket feels like it can survive any weather without feeling bulky or heavy. Personally, we feel the manufacturer’s photos don’t do this jacket justice, as it is more technical than it first appears.
A plethora of pockets greets those who tend to carry too many items on the ski slopes. We counted nine, some of which are integrated into larger pockets (for example, the phone pocket inside the exterior chest pocket). For those who use them, the cord adjustments in the hood and waist are cleverly designed, integrating the release into the seam inside a rubbery pouch. Patagonia calls this its Touch Point system.
