This season’s Arc’teryx jackets impressed us as surprising standouts when it comes to fit, on both the men's and women's side. Officially, this jacket is listed as “trim fit,” which doesn’t leave too much room for large layers, and it has zero freeride inclination. But when it comes to the Cassiar jacket, most demanding skiers will have no complaints.
For being a trim fit, we never felt our range of motion was limited, and construction is top notch. This variation of GORE-TEX (N40s) offers a decent amount of stretch, while still retaining the brand’s core technical functionality. Ultimately, you’ll want to buy this jacket for the excellent fit and highly technical material.
