Mt Hotham received sixteen centimetres of dry snow in twenty four hours with minus seven degree temperatures. All lifts are open and Victorians are enjoying the best season start in seven years.
Twenty centimtres fell across the range at Falls Creek with snow down to five hundred metres. Mt Buller also benefited from the cold snap with fifteen centimetres of fresh snow overnight.
The good news is snow clouds will clear for bluebird days on fresh powder this weekend. Snow conditions in both Victoria and New South Wales resorts are excellent with all areas working at full capacity with all lifts open.
Telemarkers will have access to telemark demos, terrain park camps and tips from the pros at Falls Creek on July 21 and 22 while the Dragon Night Rail Jam with live DJ is set to rock Hotham on Saturday night.
