Where . . . Alpine Snowsports Centre, Aldershot
What . . . The centre offers a number of different snowsports activities for all ages. There are three ski slopes, the main slope is 110 metres and the two nursery slopes are both 75 metres long. All are fully floodlit and have their own mist system. Skiers access the slope via a ski tow. Sledging and donut sessions are also available.
There are a number of private and group lessons available for all ages. Freeride sessions run every Tuesday evening complete with music, ramps, and rails. To attend a practise session without a lesson you'll need to be able to control your speed, turn, and use the ski lift.
The Alpine Snowsports Centre is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday; 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Satudays; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays.
Other amenities . . . There's a fully licensed bar and a ski shop stocking a range of adult and child clothing and accessories. Free parking outside.
