Canada won gold in snowboarding Saturday, but otherwise Europe again dominated the medals podium.

Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland won gold in the Women's 30k Mass Start Classic Cross Country. Marit Bjoergen of Norway won silver, and Aino-Kaisa Assrinen of Finland won bronze.

Jasey Jay Anderson of Canada won gold in Men's PGS Snowboarding. Benjamin Karl of Austria won silver, and Mathieu Bozzetto of France won bronze.

Giuliano Razzolli of Italy won gold in the Men's Slalom. Ivica Kostelic of Croatia won silver, and Andre Myhrer of Sweden won bronze.

Friday events were dominated by Europeans.

Norway won the Men's 4x7.5k Biathlon Relay Friday. Austria won silver, and Russian Federation won bronze.

Marta Riesch of Germany won gold in the Women's Slalom. Marlies Schild of Austria won silver, and Sarka Zahrobska of Czech Republic won bronze.

Nicolien Sauerbreij of Netherlands won gold in the Women's PGS Snowboard. Ekaterina Ilyukhina of Russian Federation won silver, and Marion Kreiner of Austria won bronze.

Norway won the gold medal Thursday in the women's 4x5km cross-country relay, with Germany second and Finland third. German Viktoria Rebensburg posted a surprise win in women's giant slalom, ahead of Slovenia's Tina Maze and Austrian Elisabeth Goergl, while American skier Julia Mancuso finished in eighth place. Lindsey Vonn crashed on her first run.

The Olympics wind up Sunday, with skiing limited to the Men's 50k Mass Start Classic.
