Two new five-star hotels have opened in Kitzbuehel, offering a touch of luxury on the slopes.
The five-star Grand Tirolia Golf & Ski Resort is situated directly on the 18-hole Eichenheim golf course. The hotel features an events room with show stage, seminar rooms, two restaurants which have a large sun terrace, golf bistro, a 1500-metre-square spa with a fitness room, its own golf course with golf school, and a cross-country slope which runs around the hotel.
Diners have two restaurants to choose from: the golf bistro and the gourmet restaurant ‘Petit Tirolia'. There is also a well-stocked wine cellar, offering more than 800 international wines.
The new five-star Hotel Royal Spa Kitzbuehel in Jochberg opened its doors Dec. 15. It features two bars, a cigar room, two restaurants with wine cellar, a sports shop, a pool area and a 2700-square-metre Mountain Health Spa and wellness area with four saunas and quiet terraces. There is also a conference centre with five meeting rooms.
Kitzbuehel boasts 168 kilometres of ski runs for all levels, ranging from nursery slopes to the legendary Hahnenkamm downhill racing piste for experts. Freestylers can practise the latest tricks at Boarders Paradise on the Kizbueheler Horn. Ski slopes are served by 56 modern ski lifts including the new 3S gondola. Free ski buses connect the ski slopes in the area.
