It’s time for Whistler Blackcomb to pull out its ring of fire. The ring serves as a frame for some of the resort’s best skiers and riders to throw big air stunts and wow crowds in its free winter outdoor show.
The resort’s Sunday evening Fire and Ice Shows return this week. Bundle up and head to Whistler Village before the 6:30 p.m start. The show takes place at the Skiers Plaza between the gondola base terminals for both mountains.
The ice in the show is the snow, of course. But the fire takes the stage in several forms. Fire spinners dazzle the audience with their flaming hoops. Skiers and riders from the Whistler Blackcomb Snow School fly off the big air jump to throw tricks as they sail through the ring of fire. For the finale, the show culminates with fireworks shooting into the sky.
