Snow Reporter Comments

Happy Saturday, we're set to enjoy our final weekend of the season with a few fresh inches of new snow and King Pine 100% open with great late-season conditions. Yesterday's bit of a surprise storm delivered 3" of new snow and we're scheduled to operate all lifts servicing all of our 17 open trails (3 lifts / 10 trails for night skiing) and snowtubing too. A very brief period of wet precipitation that followed the new snow has put only the slightest bit of crunch layer on top, but hardly to be considered a crust. Groomers laid down fresh morning corduroy on 15 of 17 trails packing down the new snow. For ungroomed trails, Pitch Pine and Pine Brule are holding steep top-to-bottom bump lines with fresh snow. Snow surfaces across the mountain are a mix of machine-groomed and powder/packed-powder new snow accumulations. 2017/18 Season Passes are on sale now! Purchase your 17/18 Anytime or Midweek Adventure Season Pass now for the lowest rates and early purchase bonuses including new passholders ski/ride free the remainder of current season!

The Twisted Pine Terrain Park will be open offering over a dozen rail, box and snow elements on Scotch Pine. Check out the Terrain Park page to see more information and elements. This week's conditions are ideal to learn or dial-in your variable snow techniques, carving tactics and take advantage of our top notch ski school services daily including children's programs, Learn To Ski or Snowboard and private lessons.

The Purity Spring Resort XC & Snowshoe Reserve is offering a 20km network of 20km skate and 10km tracked trails with a 12-18" base depth and surfaces a fresh, machine-groomed packed-powder snow. Groomers are out this morning freshening up the network and it's definitely perfect conditions to enjoy our ungroomed snowshoe trails and today's final Guided Snowshoe Tour of the season at 2 p.m. The Pine Meadows Tubing Park and Tohko Dome Ice Skating Rink are currently open for regular hours. Our rental shop is here to provide you all the skiing, snowboarding, nordic, snowshoeing and ice-skating equipment you may need and our tune shop is ready to keep the gear you own sharp and in top shape.

Conditions were great! Very surprised with the lack of real snow thus far this season. Even after a full day of skiing there was very little ice. Great day all around!
