- Snow Reports
Nevada lies on the Eastern slope of the Sierra Nevada and provides two skiing and snowboarding options in the Lake Tahoe region as well as skiing near Las Vegas.
Lake Tahoe skiing and snowboarding at Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak is easily accessed from Reno-Tahoe International Airport, where visitors can enjoy an abundance of annual snowfall. There’s also skiing close to Sin City at Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort, where visitors can take day trips from the Sunset Strip.
