This Is a great ski resort and very close. The only thing I this they had was more runs and keeping some of them less icy. There is never lines (at least when I come) and they have great customer service. Awesome overall!
Close and cheap
Icy and more runs

They consistently do a phenomenal job of taking what mother nature gives (or in this case holds back massively in terms of snowfall) and makes a great snow base. I wish more runs were open but I get it. This winter has been rough everywhere. The staff here are awesome. I love these slopes.
Close by, outstanding staff
Season passes are pricy

I think that the management needs to start listening to the riders and come out of the dark age of what they think is important.
It is by far the best hill in the metro area. It has plenty of great runs for everyone and has lifts right where the should be at top and bottom
Biggest complaint : they will groom a snowfall in before you get there...You will be dreaming about soft new snow the whole way there to show up to a boring groomed run with all the fun stuff tamed down to boringville.... Also they do not like jumps or ju

Absolutely crazy how expensive this place is! $200 dollars for an adult and 2 small children for the beginner hill. Wild mountain charges $16. Way to promote skiing Welch.

There are 5 chair lifts open and a rope tow for the terrain park. All together 19 runs open for good early season packed groomed snow fun. I'm not sure what's up with the report on this site, but I've never seen this resort have only 1 lift open anytime.
good packed groomed skiing
all man made snow

No lift lines this early season
Not much open

It’s one of the two places I can go for a ride after work that’s not two hours away. But It cost too much, always icy, never groomed, the decor is dated. It’s nice when you go with others and bring your own food and drink, but you can do that anywhere else for cheaper
