Ethan and Karen in the ticket line made for a very accommodating and personal experience. Super friendly and generous people. Can’t wait for our next visit when we have hero’s like them to make our day special!

I love Mammoth and have been skiing there for years. However, the music the resort plays in the locker rooms and ski area is horrible. Mammoth needs to bring back Rock n’ Roll. Please un-break my heart and let Rock n’ Roll reign at Mammoth, again.

I have been to mammoth on 4 separate occasions. Each time a storm would come in and shut down the mountain. You do not want to be at the mountain during the storm. The lifts shut down and funnel everyone to the base where the lines can stack up. Besides this, mammoth is an awesome mountain. Great terrain for advanced and expert skiers that want to get into some grizzly stuff.

We think it’s fun

Mammoth is wonderful, except for the creepy gondola supervisor I always enjoy it!

Great snow, great mountain but prices have gotten out of hand. $20 for a daily locker, $20 hamburger & $249 for a single day lift ticket, which is just gouging.

Great place, great terrain. But lots of wind holds.

This is one of California's biggest resorts with amazing terrain options. The town of Mammoth is fun enough, and offers good restaurant choices and lodging. Even an RV park.
On mountain options are excellent, no matter your ability, and you can even ski at 11,000 feet an unusual elevation for the Sierra.
The biggest dig is cost and this makes it terrible for families.
Alterra is all about their profits.

Sam Taylor and Karen really helped us out with our lift tickets due to a major snow storm happening at Mammoth Mtn. Great customer service and Sam was very attentive to our situation . 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not family-friendly, and is very expensive. lots of traversing. parking is limited. Driving there can be dangerous and the road is closed off in the winter. Outdated. far better options in the area for jus about any visitor. All hype but does not deliver
