Jackson Hole has emerged as one of the top destinations for skiers, bikers, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts in the country. Situated just west of the Continental Divide at an elevation of 6,237 feet, rugged mountains encompass Jackson Hole, which is approximately 400 square miles in size.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort offers lift-accessible mountain biking, aerial tram rides and the Grand Adventure Park. The Snake River flows through the valley and is a popular destination for whitewater raft trips and fly fishing. Grand Teton National Park occupies a majority of the Jackson Hole Valley, while Yellowstone National Park is located approximately 90 miles north of town.
