With skier safety an ever-increasing topic of interest and priority among ski resorts and gear manufacturers alike, one of the easiest ways to improve your protection factor is to rock a helmet. Apparently, people are also taking this seriously and into their own hands, with helmet sales up 13 percent to $112 million last season, according to SIA Market Intelligence research. 

Most can agree, a helmet is a small price to pay for a safer ski day, and new technology in this arena will impress and reassure you, simultaneously blowing and protecting your mind.
