For 16/17, brands have generally simplified and streamlined their styles, dialing back pockets in some cases in favor of a more flattering look and lighter weight.

Another feature we’re seeing make less of an appearance in the pant world is cuff adjustment options, many manufacturers opting for the straightforward installation of a grippy gaiter. More importantly, continued emphasis on movement by way of articulation and breathability via well-placed vents should have those ski legs feeling juuuuuuuust right, resort slopes to backcountry expanses.
